Piston type accumulator

Operating Principle of Piston Accumulator:
Nitrogen Charging: During installation, nitrogen gas is introduced into the gas chamber of the accumulator to generate pressure, which stores energy in a closed system.

Energy Storage: When fluid from the hydraulic system enters the accumulator, the piston is pushed, compressing the nitrogen gas and storing energy. This allows the system to quickly release stored energy when needed, such as for rapidly increasing pressure or performing sudden actions.

Pressure Balancing: The accumulator can also be used to balance pressure variations in the hydraulic system, reducing pressure peaks and enhancing system stability and efficiency. As the pressure changes in the system, the accumulator can release or absorb fluid, maintaining a more stable pressure level.

Piston accumulators have various applications in hydraulic systems, providing additional energy storage, pressure balancing, and dynamic control, thereby enhancing system efficiency, stability, and precision. They can be used in industrial machinery to provide extra energy storage for handling sudden load changes or rapid movements. For example, they can be used in hydraulic lifting platforms, clamps, presses, and other equipment to achieve more precise motion control and stability.
